Pentagon: 2 U.S. Navy Boats held by Iran Military

The Iranian military has seized 2 United States Navy boats along with 10 American Sailors January 12th 2016. Iranian forces are holding the boats and sailors in custody on Farsi Island. The Navy boats were on a training mission and experienced a malfunction of some kind possibly straying into Iranian waters. Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook said “We have been in contact with Iran and have received assurances that the crew and the vessels will be returned promptly.”
