Have you ever seen, in person or video, those glass doors that can become frosted glass when electricity is applied to them? Well Microsoft has employed something very similar, along with two projectors, to create a system that allows a computer to display two sets of information to the viewer.
When the glass is “frosted”, the image from one projector appears on the surface. When the glass is clear, it lets the image from the other projector through. So long as there is another surface above the “screen”, that surface will show the image from the second projector! Kinda hard to explain in words, but the video explains it very well!
